Registered General Nurse RGN

Outstanding job opening for Registered General Nurse RGN to work one of the UK’s leading care providers.

As Nurse you will be working in medium size home covering two floors.

The homes categories of care include general frail elderly and we also have available some residential beds.

The home has the perfect location close to the second largest town of the Isle of Man.

The Bus service runs frequently between the care homes.

The home also has a village complex which provides accommodation to the over 50s where people acquire their own small flats all overseen by the larger group management team. 


The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary of £16.16 per hour plus other great benefits.

Key Responsibilities 
Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life. 

Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical, social and psychological needs. 

Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation. 

 Build the positive reputation of the Business; liaise professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders. 

 Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge. 

 Participate knowledgably and professionally to all inspection visits, ensuring your team is ready at all times to do the same. 

Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigates and resolves risks proactively.
 Act as a reflective and developmental practitioner participating to continual professional development and meeting the requirements of professional revalidation.

Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector
