My client is a well-established provider of Live in Care across the UK.

They are looking to recruit for a Head of Care to oversee and grow the business in the Southern region.

Main Responsibilities;

  • Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the field-based Care Management team

  • Auditing & Quality Assurance in line with CQC regulations

  • Take accountability for client and carer compliance ensuring CQC regulations, company policies and practice are maintained and promote our aims and values.

  • Responsible for quality assurance and monitoring of field-based care managers.

  • Promote, drive and grow brand new care packages.

  • To be responsible for leading the investigation and resolution of any concerns or complaints from clients or carers in accordance with Corinium Care's Complaint, Safeguarding and Whistleblowing policies.

    Providing direction to Care Managers as required.

  • To oversee and manage a national client base to include conducting care and risk assessments and subsequent reviews.

  • Following assessments and reviews, ensuring paperwork and information update on staff plan is completed in a timely manner.

  • To act as an ongoing point of contact for clients to ensure the service provided meets their needs and respond to any subsequent matters.

  • To be responsible for ensuring all staff members are fully trained before they participate in the on-call rota,

  • To maintain and develop the on-call procedures - to be reviewed as a minimum once annually

  • Line management of 7 care managers within the field.

  • Report all updates to the Business Manager and deputise in their absence.


  • Vocational qualification

  • Full UK Driving license and own car

  • IT literate

  • Demonstrate understandings of the CQC standards
