We are looking for a Programme Planner with experience of Government Department works & ideally the MoJ Common Platform Programme.

The CJS Common Platform Programme is a business transformation programme which will enable the criminal justice system as a whole, and the individual agencies working within it, to fundamentally change the way they work, to be more efficient and effective and deliver a better service for society and taxpayers.

For the first time, criminal case information will be kept together in one place, instead of being re-entered and replicated on numerous different systems.

Parties will be able to access and update the same data set based on their security profile and associated access rights.

The Programme is currently transitioning to a wider Crime Programme and an experienced senior Planner is required to develop and manage the Programme plan, incorporating the management of dependencies and the change control process.

The Planner will work within the Programme Management Office and will be part of a team with responsibility for leading on the strategic planning for the Programme, including the design of a planning hierarchy, development of planning standards, coaching and leading planning sessions and challenging and guiding detailed plan development.

The postholder will also be responsible for training and coaching a Civil servant in planning skills in order that the plan may be managed for the duration of the Programme.

Experience of working with Jira and Confluence is a desirable criterion.

As well as the specific experience required above you will have the necessary qualifications, skills & experience of a Programme Planner to take control of this requirement from its inception to its completion.
