Community Services Manager

Excellent job opening for a Community Services Manager to work with one of the UK’s leading healthcare provider.


The Supported Living Service provides person centred tailored support packages to seven people with learning disabilities who may have one or more other complex support requirements.  Each supported person has their own Individual flat built completely separately but within the large grounds of an Elderly Nursing Service in the rural village of Liss, Hants. 


You will be well supported by an Operations Manager to develop in this key role with a brief to further broaden the opportunities the service offers to the people who live there.

 You will manage a team of staff to deliver a person-centred approach that is appropriate to each individual whilst addressing their specific needs and supporting positive outcomes for them.


The individuals we currently support all like various activities, they like to get out and about and do things in their community such going to the gym, boxing, visiting the beauty salon, going shopping and eating out.  Their interests are varied which is highlighted in their person centred plans.


This service is very rural and therefore the ability to drive is strongly desirable


The skills you’ll need


A strong, supportive leader and effective manager, you’ve successfully managed a team in a Supported Living Service.

You’ve also had professional senior level contact with CQC and have developed positive relationships with commissioning teams.


You should have achieved,or be working towards a QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care or hold equivalent qualification, such as NVQ Level 4 in both Health and Social Care and Leadership and Management in Care Services.
