Qualified Social Worker

Taking guidance from more experienced staff, the role holder will undertake child protection investigations, act as key worker to children/ young people with a child protection plan and undertake all related statutory responsibilities.


You will be confident in delivering training alongside colleagues and have a real passion about making a difference to children and young people.


Identifies and assesses levels of risk and need, and delivers protective or supportive services for children at risk, in need and/or looked after.


To promote the welfare of children in need with particular regard to their age, sex, health, race, religion, culture and life experience as appropriate.


Ensure children and young people are adequately protected in line with departmental policy and procedures, relevant legislation.


Carrying out high quality assessments, using child centred, community focused and mulita-agency interventions to bring about positive change through developing effective relationships, and secure the best outcomes for children and young people.
