Account Manager / Business Development Manager

My Client is a well established company with over 20 years experience in the water treatment industry.

They provide services/solutions in Contracting, Equipment and Service & Maintenance.

The company has previously achieved great success in the Equipment division and is looking to expand on this to become the leading supplier of water treatment equipment in the UK.

Job Profile

Account Manager/Business Development Manager (Equipment Division)

They have identified an opening within the Equipment Division for a new Sales Consultant.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Equipment Division Director.

You will manage existing and new consultant accounts to achieve specifications, and convert them into sales via sub-contractors/distributors, within designated sales areas in accordance with agreed budgetary targets and to maximise company profitability.


To self-generate enquiries via contractors or consultants to break competitor's specifications as required to ensure budgetary targets are exceeded.

You will develop strong relationships with client base, offering technical advice and guidance with an emphasis on contractual and legislative compliance.
To be managerially responsible for servicing the customer base to enable the company to achieve its Business Development objectives and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and client retention.


The successful candidate will have ownership of the South East geographical area and be tasked with securing equipment orders from contractors in that area.

To facilitate this, the successful candidate will also be required to develop relationships with Building Services Engineers in order to ensure their products are specified.

New and existing account development will both be key to the success of the role.

Experience
Applicants MUST have minimum of 3 years experience in sales within the water treatment industry backed up by a proven track record.

With regards to a specific area to cover they are ideally looking at London and the South East.

There is a need for a weekly office visit for paperwork and sales meetings/training etc.

The office is in Berkshire near Wokingham.



Working hours will be:
40hrs per week Monday - Friday
