Office Administrator

Location: Bulwell, Nottingham, NG6 8WA

Salary: 15K -17.5k depending on experience 

Hours of work: 9.00am -17.00 half hour lunch

An expanding Security company that specialise in Roller Shutter Doors, Physical Security Equipment and Electronic Safety Products currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to undertake an important role within their small successful team of 10 people, based in Bulwell, Nottingham. 

The successful candidate will undertake a variety of tasks including administration and receptionist duties, and will be supporting the MD, the Office Manager and the Accounts Manager.

Key Responsibilities:                


  • Answering the phone and dealing with calls
  • E-mail – manage and action – pass to MD Office manager and Finance manager where applicable      
  • Log any enquiries onto data base and manage accordingly            
  • Manage Social Media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn 
  • Manage office filing system
  • Manage holidays, sickness and staff records
  • Source and manage office suppliers e.g.

    stationery and book supplies to required levels
  • Maintain and order stationery and book supplies to required levels
  • Opening, actioning and filing post

Key Requirements:


  • You have a strong willingness and optimistic attitude, to grow with this role
  • You have a great interest in business and appreciate the importance of this role as a support role for the smooth operation of the business
  • You are extremely organised and efficient and deliver on results even under pressure
  • The work you produce is consistently neat and presentable and you have an excellent eye for detail and accuracy
  • You have a clear, confident and captivating voice and telephone manner as a considerable part of your job will be telephone based
  • You are proficient at using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Internet Explorer, Social media i.e.

    Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram and have a high degree of computer literacy
  • You can organise and manage an office, including filing systems, computer systems, accounting systems and all general day to day office activity
  • You have at least 1 year working experience in an office environment
