Apprentice Nursery Nurse

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Apprentice Nursery Nurse to join a well-established, family run children’s nursery.

Our client is an independent nursery serving the local communities in St.

Albans, Harpenden and Welwyn Garden City.

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

To be a successful candidate, you will possess the following…

Skills and Knowledge:


  • Some knowledge of EYFS standards and curriculum
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage time between work and study

 

Experience:


  • Some experience of working and caring for children under 5 within a nursery environment (Desirable)

Qualifications:


  • GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade A

    *-C or equivalent (Essential)
  • Willing to achieve NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (Essential)
  • Current First Aid at Work Certificate (Desirable)
