Support Worker

Robinson Medical Recruitment currently looking to recruit an exceptional Support Worker who will provide care and support to service users in East Lothian.

We are looking for someone to cover a range of shifts from days, to nights and sleep in's.

The ideal candidate will be a flexible and compassionate individual and able to demonstrate a passion for the role.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting individuals who need help emotionally and physically depending on the individual’s needs.

We cover an array of areas such as the Elderly & Frail, those with Mental Health Issues, Challenging Behaviour, Learning Disabilities and Physical Disabilities.

We’re looking for a dedicated Support Worker who is available for either both day or night shift across a seven-day rota.

To apply to this role, you will need


  • The right to live and work in the UK (essential)
  • A minimum of recent 6 months current care experience within the UK (essential)
  • Experience of working with the Elderly & Frail, Mental Health, Challenging Behaviour, Learning Disabilities and/or Physical Disabilities.
  • A certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months, or are willing to book onto our course (if applicable)
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable
  • You will also need to be SSSC registered or commit to joining the register when you become an RMR Employee.
  • Willing to undertake full training and induction prior to commencing employment
  • References to support pervious care experience as a support worker.
