Regional Sales Mgr / Business Development Manager (OEM, Tier 1 & Tier 2) - Germany (Home office)

Providing a wide range of high performance NOR / NAND Flash memory and 32-bit general-purpose MCU products.

With 800+ employees, the company is currently seeking an OEM Business Development Manager with proven capabilities to join their strong and growing team in Europe.

About the Role:

You are responsible for driving new business and maintaining existing client base, effectively managing and growing their position within the region.

as well as growing relationships at major OEM’s and emerging customers and representing their brand.

Your responsibilities primarily include development and execution of market-leading growth strategy, driving innovative commercial and technical solutions tailored to the customer's and markets they are targeting.

Build a productive customer relationships across the organization and adapt the strategy according to future or emerging customer or industry trends as required.

In this position you will align with the regional goals, defined by management, to develop short and long range plans including objectives and strategies for the organisation to maximise market share, sales volume and design wins for the European territory.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the Semiconductor market with experience working closely with major OEM’s in the Industrial / Automotive and IOT sectors.

  • As established by management’s goals, set, implement and follows up on sales strategies to exceed annual sales, design wins and market share
  • Ability to regularly meet with customers and distribution partners to develop relationships, determine revenue and design growth opportunities and provide guidance to local sales team to support the appropriate actions
  • Sets plans to achieve regional sales and design growth, marketing objectives and customer development
  • Provides timely reports and forecasts as required by management

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience at a Key OEM /Major account Management level related to the active Semiconductor field.

    Memory / MCU experience would be an advantage
  • Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Marketing, Business Management or similar - strong technical background
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor industry and distribution to understand emerging customers, trends and competitive landscape
  • Excellent time management, organisation and ability to work without supervision
  • Dependable, trustworthy self-starter
  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills German / English ; this includes creating and presenting for both training and customer meetings
  • Significant time spent Customer facing is a must and Regional travel visiting customers and sales personnel and distributors is required
  • Manage use of client CRM to ensure all activities and opportunities are accurately captured, tracked and managed within existing sales processes
