Administration Assistant - Maternity Cover

An opportunity for a hardworking and reliable Administration Assistant to join electronic hardware and software company.

The intention is for the role to be initially temporary to cover maternity leave but there could be the opportunity for this to develop into a permanent role.

Our client are providers to the leisure industry throughout the UK.  The role will be based out of their Head Office located in Bradley, Huddersfield.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake various duties including:

  • Main contact for answering all phone calls
  • Processing customer orders
  • Administration of customer repairs
  • Managing technician stock replacements
  • Processing purchase orders
  • Managing delivery notes
  • Control and manage customer hire requests
  • Booking hotels and organising travel arrangements
  • Ordering of general office supplies
  • Managing outgoing post
  • Filing
  • General administration duties as and when required

Essential skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Polite, helpful professional telephone manner
  • Able to carry out administration duties with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good standards of computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload in required timescales but also be able to operate within a team environment

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Start Date: Monday 6th January 2020
