Job Title: Problem Analyst

Rate: Up to £315 per day

Suitable For: Incident Analyst, Problem Manager, IT Problem Analyst, JIRA / Confluence administration

Duration: Initial 3 Month Contract

Location: Milton Keynes

Travel: None/Infrequent

5 Days Per Week

The Role of Incident Problem Manager

The purpose of the role is to provide problem management support for all aspects of software delivery linked to the evolution and enhancements of a top ranked corporate website as part of a wider programme of digital change.

The role reports into the Product Manager within the Delivery function of the Information Technology Department.

  • To drive all problem Management investigation activities

  • Support JIRA/Confluence administration including

    • workflows,

    • security schemes,

    • custom fields,

    • dashboards,

    • reports and configurations

  • Ensure problem records are kept up to date with clear concise information which easily explains what current investigational steps are taking place

  • Developing and maintaining the problem control process

Mandatory Experience for this role

  • Problem management

  • Experience in a multi-disciplined technical department.

  • Experience in trend analysis and proactive problem management

  • Proven track record of problem & error control

  • working in large scale enterprise environments

  • Good communication skills and people relationship skills

  • Excellent Excel skills

  • Proven track of record of administering JIRA/Confluence

  • Experience in creation and management of custom projects, workflows, custom fields and dashboards/reports.

  • Proven experience in problem management
