Community Services Manager

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Community Services Manager to join an exceptional supported living service within the Winchester area.

As a Service Manager you will be working for a company which is rated highly and has an excellent reputation in the area.

This service is a specialist supported living service where they support individuals living across several flats.

The service provides support to individuals living with learning disabilities, autism, complex care and Prader Willi Syndrome.

As the Community Services Manager your day to day duties include:

·         To lead the team at the site providing operational and strategic direction

·         Making sure everything runs smoothly and cost-effectively

·         You’ll ensure the individuals you support have the opportunity to develop a varied and fulfilling Lifestyle – and the chance to define their own goals and decide their own future

·         Ensuring the highest standards of support

·         Managing budgets

·         Developing your team

·         It’s a varied role in an organisation that’s leading the way in supporting those with learning disabilities

 

An ideal Community Services Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

·         A strong, supportive leader and effective manager

·         Successfully managed a team in a supported living environment or PWS service

·         Had professional senior level contact with CQC and have developed positive relationships with commissioning teams

·         Committed to the same high-quality, person-centered services that we are – services that help people to a better life

·         NVQ Level 4 in both Health and Social Care and Leadership and Management in Care Services

 

The successful Community Services Manager will receive an excellent salary of up to £32,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role.

To be considered for this position you should have achieved, or be working towards a QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care or hold equivalent qualification.
