IT Support Analyst

IT Support Analyst | up to £33,500 | London





Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently working with an iconic institution that celebrates art and culture, based in London.

Through our clients' digital platforms and collaborations with national and international partners they are looking for someone to help them deliver operations, systems development and information management services to over 800 stakeholders across multiple sites.



We have 2 roles ranging from £29,500 up to £33,500 (depending on experience).



As the IT Support Analyst, you will monitor the performance of our clients' computers and network equipment, restoring service whenever IT systems fail, whilst analysing any deep-rooted problems.



THE BASICS:



If you can respond to and resolve incidents and service requests assigned to you and diagnose & resolve problems, including desktop equipment, servers and network cabling and data switches, whilst configuring and deploying new IT equipment we'd like to hear from you.



Engineer who can enable continuity of service, observe the change-control procedures, comply with IT security policies and monitor the configuration of equipment and the behaviour of users for possible breaches of IT security will be of interest.



Monitoring the performance of the IT Infrastructure against the service levels in the IS service catalogue, whilst demonstrating responsibility for ensuring physical environments in which technology is housed onsite - data centres, data closets, workshops and store rooms - are clean and are kept in an orderly fashion is important.





THE PRE-REQUSITIES:



Engineers with experience of providing IT technical support services within a large and dispersed organisation, with a good understanding of ITIL processes: Service Request Management and Incident Management, coupled with a methodical approach to problem solving will be sought after.





THE TECHNICAL:



Experience of Windows 10, Office 365 and Active Directory, with knowledge of PC and printer hardware and experience of fitting components (i.e.

network cards, disk drives) and a good knowledge of: Apple Mac and OSX, TCP/IP, network equipment (i.e.

firewalls, routers, and switches), Windows Server 2008/2008 R2/2012/2016, Citrix XenApp 6.5 will result in an immediate interview request.
