Field Sales Manager

Job Title: Field Sales Manager
Location: Warwickshire (travelling nationally)
Salary: Strong basic salary plus potential to earn


Currently looking for a Field Sales Manager to primarily identify growth opportunities by leveraging existing clients and contacts, develop and maintain client relationships, whilst also recognising and actively pursuing new business opportunities.


This is a field-base position (4 days out, 1 day in the office) covering the whole of the UK.

A self-motivated individual will be expected to manage their own diary and create their own appointments for attendance both individually and with members of the technical team.

Although the primary focus is on new business, the Sales/BD Manager will be expected to develop existing Strategic Account in conjunction with the Directors.


Requirements:
, 5 years + experience in new business field sales role
, Experience within Engineering Consultancy or Construction Industry
, Experience of Solution Sales/Selling of Services is a pre-requisite


Technical Skills:
, Strong sales and communication skills
, Advanced Level of MS platforms including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
, Working knowledge of procurement portals would be advantageous
, Strong Presentation skills


Main Responsibilities:
, Identifying new sales leads, both from current clients, and also by developing relationships with new
, Proactively promoting services to new and existing customers
, Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
, Researching organisations to identify new leads and potential new markets
, Researching the needs of clients and establishing the correct decision makers
, Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
, Conducting meetings with existing and new clients to promote services
, Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives


Additional Responsibilities:
, Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company's products
, Developing quotes and proposals
, Assisting in production of tenders
, Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
, Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
, Attending exhibitions, conferences, networking and industry events
