Contracts Manager - Groundworks
My client are a Groundworks and civil engineering company based in the West Midlands and are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join the team.
You must be an experienced Contracts Manager with New Build Residential Groundworks and Civil Engineering background to manage a number of projects throughout the Midlands region.
You will be responsible for preparing and producing construction programmes, ensuring projects are running smoothly to programme and deadlines are being met.
Communicating, liaising and attending regular meetings with clients and other members of management.
You will have excellent knowledge of current health and safety legislation and will be experienced in identifying potential risks and resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and will be responsible for workforce planning and alongside the Site Manager, managing personal issues regarding employment, grievances and disciplinary issues.
- Knowledge of residential groundworks and civil engineering
- 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong health and safety knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Full UK driver's license
- Proven contract management or multi-site project management experience is essential
