Senior Customer Data Analyst

Senior Customer Data Analyst, Slough, Berkshire, £55-60K + 10% bonus + £5.8K Car Allowance + bens.

You must have a background as a Data Analyst, with experience of working in an advanced analytics role within a customer data analytics team.

You should have demonstrable end-to-end analytics project lifecycle experience, strong SQL querying skills (SQL Server).

Any experience of R would be advantageous.

You must also have strong demonstrable customer / stakeholder experience

You must have strong customer / stakeholder experience from a proactive perspective.

Do you just attend Customer / Stakeholder meetings or do you set up the meetings yourself and drive the conversations?

Tableau experience preferred however Power BI will also be considered

The role:

The Senior Data Analyst role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced customer data analyst to take the insight lead on a variety of analytics projects.

You will be exploring our incredibly rich datasets and using a range of the latest technologies to answer a wide variety of complex business questions.

You will be responsible for delivering insight e.g.

to define customer acquisition strategies, optimise our sales channels and campaigns, maximise customer lifetime value and reduce customer churn.

Critical to the success of this role will be your ability to work confidently with complex datasets, develop insightful analysis that drives action, and communicate findings in a clear and compelling way.

You will be responsible for executing end-to-end analytics projects:

, Business understanding - proactively capturing analysis requirements and defining success metrics
, Data understanding - identifying and validating sources of data
, Data preparation - extracting, merging and cleaning data from a variety of sources
, Data visualisation & modelling
, Communicating clear recommendations and action plans to stakeholders

Key skills/ Experience:

, Demonstrable end-to-end analytics project lifecycle experience with a track record in being able to spot opportunities and drive them through to delivery.
, Passionate about data analytics.

Technically self-sufficient with a desire and ability to research and pick up new tools and techniques quickly.
, Very strong SQL querying skills (SQL Server).

Experience with R, would be an advantage.
, Experience of manipulating large quantities of high-dimensional data.

Ability to extract, clean, and combine data from a variety of sources and ensure high levels of data quality.

, Ability to work independently from the Data Analytics manager finding your own solutions to problems.
, Ability to visualise data effectively.
, Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly at all levels of the organisation.

, Ability to quickly gain knowledge of the company and understand the business.

Previous experience of the telecoms industry would be a significant advantage.
, Ability to work simultaneously across a number of analytical projects, managing your own time and projects to deliver results with minimal support.
, Being an active Data Analytics team member, sharing knowledge and best proactive, and mentoring junior members of the team.
