Registered Nurse

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a motivated RGN, RMN or RNLD t to join an Exceptional Care Home within the Macduff area.

As a Nurse you will be working for a company which is rated highly and has an excellent reputation for care in the area.

 

The special care team offers residential care to those who need help with daily tasks, as well as residential dementia care where we support people to maintain their independence and individuality, encouraging social activity and building relationships within the home.

They also provide nursing care for people who have complex medical needs, and nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions.

 

As a Nurse your day to day duties include:

·         Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge

·         Ensure the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life

·         Participate knowledgably and professionally to all inspection visits, ensuring your team is ready at all times to do the same

·         Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical, social and psychological needs

·         Promote a cohesive team approach and a welcoming atmosphere to ensure staff members feel a connection to our residents and the home, and they are well supported to deliver high quality care

·         Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation

·         Build the positive reputation of the Business; liaise professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders.

 

An ideal Nurse must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Provide both residential and nursing care to older people who have dementia.

·         Able to show empathy and warmth

·         A bubbly and outgoing personality

·         Dementia experience

·         Able to write care plans

·         Assist in assessments

 

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £16.00 per hour.

This exciting position is a Part Time position for 23.5 hours a week on Day Shifts only.

To be considered for this position you must be a qualified Nurse either RGN,RMN or RNLD
