Registered Nurse

An amazing Job opportunity has just opened for a committed RGN or RMN to work with one of UK's Leading Healthcare Providers.

We are looking for a passionate and caring individual with a proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team within a highly reputable service based in Dewsbury.


About the service

This hospital provides a specialist inpatient service for adults and older age males with severe and enduring mental health conditions, who may also have an undiagnosed memory related illness.

Our client also provides a specialist Neuro-cognitive and dementia care service for males presenting with very agitated or aggressive behaviour.

The main focus of our client is the rehabilitation and recovery for those requiring a bespoke package of care.


As a nurse, your duties will include:

•Ensuring the highest possible standards of care.

  • Assessing residents' needs and wishes.
  • Developing services to enhance their quality of life.
  • •Championing appropriate independence and personal choice
  • Developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet the residents physical, social and psychological needs.
  • •Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift
  • Ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
  • •Build the positive reputation of the Business
  • Liaise professionally with visitors and other external stakeholders.
  • •Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge.
  • •Participate knowledgably and professionally to all inspection visits, ensuring your team is ready at all times to do the same.
  • •Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
  • Identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively.
  • •Ensure you follow a rigorous monitoring and recording practice
  • Documenting efficiently and thoroughly all matters relating to residents and employees.
  • •Promote a cohesive team approach and a welcoming atmosphere to ensure staff members feel a connection to the residents and the home, and they are well supported to deliver high quality care.


In order to be applicable for the Registered Nurse’s role you will need to be a hard working and confident individual.

You must have the following skills and knowledge as they are beneficial for this role:

·         Able to communicate effectively and to develop professional relationships

·         The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements

·         Respectful of the values, views and needs of other

·         People Management experience 

·         Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes

·         Able to show a can-do attitude always


The registered nurses role is full time for 40 hours per week and the successful nurse will receive an excellent annual salary of £29,182.00, plus generous benefits in return of all their hard work and commitment.  Benefits include:
