Community Development ISVA

Black Country Women's Aid (BCWA) is an established charity working across the Black Country and wider West Midlands providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking.



Services range from advocacy, civil remedies, support in court, individual and group support and access to a range of therapeutic interventions.

All services are client and needs led.



We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our growing and successful organisation within our Sexual Violence Abuse Team.



Job title: Community Development ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advocate)
Positions available: 1 full-time position
Starting salary: £22,934.

We are looking for a confident, committed and highly professional individual to promote awareness across the Black Country, this post required that a maintain a reduced caseload.

The Community Development ISVA will join the Sexual Violence Abuse team based across the Black Country


You will be required to provide a high-quality frontline service to victims of historic sexual violence and sexual abuse.

You will be working within a multi-agency framework consisting of Local Authorities, the SARC, Police, NHS (to include Mental Health Services), the Criminal Justice System, Social Care and local non-statutory partnership responses to CSA.
