Part time Payroll Administrator / Bookkeeper

The company is looking for an experienced & preferably qualified / regulated Bookkeeper with solid & recent Payroll experience to work with their team based in Surrey/Sussex border.

Hours are flexible, minimum of 10-15 hours per week, over 5 days......

This role will, initially at least, involve mostly working in their pleasant village based office with their friendly team, and with some client site visits & remote work possible once up to speed.

Payroll duties would be for their portfolio of 20 payroll clients ranging from 1 to 25 employees, mostly monthly, and with pension reporting/administration alongside. Accuracy is essential. 

Skills & Experience:

You should be computer literate for this role, & have strong bookkeeping skills from processing & housekeeping, to balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, and have a passion for quality & customer satisfaction.

Ideally with experience of Xero, Quickbooks online, but software training can be arranged if your base of experience is excellent in all other aspects.


Rates of pay will be £13 - £18 per/hour depending on skills & experience.

Self-employed or Employed can be considered for this role.
