Job Title: Lead Business Analyst
Salary: £47,015 - £52,916
Hours: 36.5 hours per week

Who we need


We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst to join our Digital and Data Leadership Team.

The team has recently been revamped and we are creating a high performing team that can provide excellent support to the complex multi functions of the WMCA.

Our key aim is to deliver a robust, high-quality customer focused Digital and Data function to our stakeholders.

Your expertise will help develop and shape our future vision and implement cutting edge technologies.


With a proven delivery record, you will be a Senior BA specialist experienced in working at a senior level and able to engage and build strong working relationships with stakeholders.


Having worked in Digital transformation, you'll have been responsible for delivering the business needs across multiple technology domains on large complex projects.

You'll be well versed in business process management and mapping as well as modelling and optimisation methodologies, tools and techniques, using these skills to drive strategy through to execution.


Above all, to be successful in this role, you must be able to actively contribute to the Digital and Data leadership team, demonstrating leadership and strategic thinking in everything you do.


About the role


The role is part of the Digital and Data Leadership Team, leading on all Business Analysis work including the management of the Business Analyst(s).

Working with the Strategic Head of Digital and Data to create and maintain a Business Analysis strategy, you will set the standards and ways of working to ensure all business and technology decisions are aligned.

You will bring together and develop BA capability through a mixture of leading and hands on work, driving joined up lean systems thinking to deliver digital enhancements.

You will engage the business at a strategic level to envisage, document and deliver a sustainable BA service that sets the direction for technical and business change.
