Duration: Permanent
Hours: 36.5 hours per week working from Monday (8:30-4:30) to Friday (8:30-3:30).

Some evening or weekend work will be required from time to time and will be agreed in advance
Location: Warwick Students' Union, Coventry
Salary: Starting from £24,413 up to £27,456 per annum, plus excellent holidays and contributory pension scheme


Warwick Students' Union is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Graphic Designer to join their newly restructured Communications and Marketing team.

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role, be ambitious and keen to be part of developing organisation.



As the Graphic Designer, you will be working on a variety of projects from branding and advertising to designing functional and fully aesthetic marketing campaigns.

You will need a graphic design background and full knowledge of digital design.

Your experience should include design, print and digital media.



With no two days the same, you'll support our busy Communications and Marketing team in designing printed materials like posters and flyers, to engaging digital content for advertising screens and social media.

You'll create exciting graphics for our website; and support the team in promoting our services, facilities and campaigns to our diverse student membership.

What's the job?


Working closely with the Communications & Marketing team and reporting into the Communications & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for providing design support across the whole of the Students' Union.


You will get involved in a range of different projects, developing creative solutions across a variety of materials for our print and online channels i.e.

logos, publications, posters, adverts, flyers, digital screens, promotional items, web and social banners to name a few.


Main duties and responsibilities will include:
, Providing graphic design support across the Students' Union using Adobe CC packages
, Creating new, and updating existing artwork for a variety of materials for print and online
, Liaising with colleagues across the SU to discuss their design requirements, and respond to briefs


Who you are:


You'll be a confident and creative designer, with a passion for creating engaging promotional materials.

Your strengths will include communicating with colleagues to understand their brief, then using your artistic ability to produce a campaign that captures the audience's imagination.

You will have experience of working in a team environment and using your expertise to guide decisionmaking.


It is essential that you have a strong portfolio of marketing and promotional materials for print and digital media.

You should be an excellent visual communicator with a keen eye for detail, have creative flair and be able to work at a high level to ensure a quality end result.


This role is perfect for someone who likes variety, is self-motivated and proactive, who takes real pride in their work and is looking to express themselves creatively in a friendly and hard working environment.
