THE ROLE OF FINANCE MANAGER


Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this varied role includes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Profit and Loss, Payroll and Office Management


This 360 role includes the following day-to-day activities; -



  • Sage Administration, Input, payment of invoices, receipt of invoices

  • Management of client/supplier contractual information

  • P&L Preparation

  • Managing Supplier Accounts

  • Maintenance of Pension online system

  • Administration of Life Cover scheme and Healthcare scheme

  • Line Management of Finance Assistant

  • Payroll and Expenses

  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns

  • Preparation and co-ordination of year end accounts with external accountants

  • Annual P11'd's

  • Cash flow management and bank reconciliation

  • Plus, a number of additional ad-hoc duties required for the running of a small back office, in a Medium-sized organisation



THE ESSENTIALS


As well as having experience of the duties listed above, the following will be seen as highly beneficial.



  • Sage Online Experience

  • Supervision of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and invoicing

  • Team Management

  • Excellent Communication both verbal and written

  • Finance Qualification/Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA

  • Excellent MS Office skills
