You will be in a unique position where you will lead and develop the team to deliver on key areas of the business including sales, marketing, customer management and product delivery.

Your Mission as a Head of People and Operations

You will have responsibility across Sales, Customer Support and Product Delivery (video and courses creation) and an oversight of Marketing.

You will initially lead a team of 3 but they anticipate this to increase because they are experiencing great momentum and are growing fast! You will use your commercial experience to identify skills gaps and grow the team in line with the changing business needs.

They need you to build relationships with their existing customers and then lead your team to make sure that they are delivering what they have promised, on time and to a high standard.

You may need to help project manage the delivery to their clients and act as the client lead.

Through all this you will be using your collaborative powers to create long term, growing business relationships their customers.

They are looking to systemise their business to make sure they have excellent business foundations from which they can successfully grow.

You will lead the team to make sure they are all working collaboratively and effectively using scalable systems and processes.

As a small business, they need to get involved with all different tasks, big or small.

You will need to be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.

Ultimately, they want their business to grow in a sustainable way to meet their mission of revolutionising education.

You will be at the heart of this, leading the team, systems, marketing and customer relationships and ensuring everything comes together to support the long-term success of the company.

Hours

Approximately 37 per week, they can be flexible around working hours

Location

They are based in the North-West of England (primarily Preston & Media City, Manchester).

They are happy to consider home-based working so you can be based anywhere within the UK, but you will need to be prepared to travel to the North-West for occasional meetings and team-based events.

Salary

Based on commercial capabilities.
