Driver/ Warehouse Operations Assistant

Are you a fit and healthy individual, capable of handling multiple bags of 25kg render products and delivering in a Mercedes Sprinter van? (Must be over 25 for insurance purposes)

Would you like to play a real part in a small friendly team, where your input and ideas really count?

If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Driver / Warehouse Operations Assistant.

Hours: 7:00am-4:30pm (Mon/Fri) Very occasional Saturday mornings by appointment & odd later afternoons by exception.


Key Role Elements include:

  • Working on site for the Sales and Operations Manager
  • Assisting with serving customers face to face from our client's sales office in Upminster
  • Assisting with the managing of email/telephone orders 
  • Stock control support
  • Assisting with the processing of cash and direct customer orders
  • Warehouse control 
  • Unloading of incoming goods
  • Local deliveries on our flatbed Mercedes Sprinter van

Candidates must have:

  • Ability to work on their own initiative
  • Full clean driving licence.

    (Competent in driving light goods vehicle)
  • Good basic computer skills in Word / Excel 
  • Excellent customer communication skills, the ability to forge strong working relationships with customers and the CRT team and the desire to put service at the forefront of all they do 
  • Experience in handling cash and performing credit card transactions 

Candidates will ideally have: 

  • The desire to progress and offer ideas to assist in rapidly growing this evolving business
  • Fork lift licence (advantageous but not essential)
  • Live locally and be prepared to work and think outside of the box 
  • Want to be part of an evolving commercial team, leading the way in the distribution of external rendering solutions and associated facade products 

The Successful Candidate will get:
