Junior Account Executive

Award winning healthcare communications agency seeks a candidate with ambition and a passion for science to join our dynamic team.

Clark Health Communications is an independent, award-winning health and medical communications agency based in central London.

We work to deliver projects for our pharmaceutical and healthcare clients inspired by healthcare professionals or patient advocates.

These ultimately drive improvements in clinical practice, challenge ingrained habits and improve communications.

Our team is made up of experienced and talented consultants, motivated by the belief that communication is at the heart of addressing many of the key questions and challenges in fighting disease and maintaining health.

The ideal candidate should be bright and ambitious, with an interest in science, health and communications, and looking to start a career helping us Deliver Change in healthcare communications.

You will work closely with, and learn directly from, an experienced team who will support your growth by offering all the necessary training and coaching to help you reach your potential.

  • Candidates who are shortlisted at the first stage, will be invited to take part in a telephone interview on either Thursday 10th December or Friday 11th December.
  • Successful candidates from the telephone interviews will be invited to a second-stage virtual recruitment half-day, likely to take place on Thursday 17th December.
  • Applicants must be available to start work on the week commencing 4th January.

What are we looking for in you?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has relevant qualifications and/or experience alongside a real confidence in understanding science and medicine and an aptitude for communication

  • Has exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Enjoys balancing and switching rapidly between different projects
  • Is willing and able to get their head around the science behind our clients’ products

What does a Junior Account Executive do?

At CHC, your role will include:

  • Working with senior members of the team to drive delivery of agreed client programmes of work
  • Overseeing project timelines and managing of different client priorities to meet deadlines
  • Selling healthcare stories to journalists and liaising with media as required
  • Development and approval of project materials and making subsequent changes to Word, PowerPoint etc.

    documents as requested by the client/project partners
  • Helping with planning and delivery of events and meetings
  • Maintaining effective cross-agency admin systems e.g.

    timesheets and job cost summaries
  • Helping to manage the workflow for some of our virtual team of writers, designer, event manager etc.

    to deliver for clients in a timely fashion
  • Constructively inputting to team meetings and volunteering to take on projects
