Trainee Factory Operative

Do you live within 10 miles of Royston, Hertfordshire?  Are you physically fit and able to regularly move up to 20kg? 

Our client, a specialist in plastic rotational moulding of bulk containers and spill containment, has a vacancy for a Trainee Factory Operative (Rotational Moulder), who can make a significant contribution to the ongoing growth of the company and can achieve the standards required in the following areas:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sets up machines and equipment used for plastic rotational moulding
• Checks setup of moulding machines, including proper mould alignment and temperatures
• Follows all appropriate safety regulations
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
• Maintains time and production records
• Works on the assembly of rotationally moulded products if required
• Maintains working area, keeping it clean and tidy
• Carries out other factory tasks as required
