Assistant Operations Manager

They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and solutions driven Assistant Operations Manager to work within the Passive Fire and Thermal Insulation Protection industry operating out of their Wickford office.



You will have the personal commitment and drive to work within a growing family business and you will be ready to work on continually improving yourself and their systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the following key elements of the role:


  • You will be an effective manager of site staff, suppliers and sub-contractors on a day-to-day basis
  • You will be able to set up and manage multiple sites from commencement to completion
  • You will be responsible for the production, procurement, and planning of daily operations
  • You will be able to manage and implement the Company’s obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act and associated legislation
  • You will be able to manage the KPIs (key performance indicators) set within the company and report out on a regular basis.

Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications:


  • You will have experience within the construction industry
  • You will have excellent communication skills
  • You will have excellent organisational skills
  • You will be able to integrate and work within a small family run business
  • You will have excellent person-management skills 
  • You will be able to work remotely 
  • You will have a strong ability and knowledge of managing the Health and Safety of our work
  • You will be IT literate with Word, Excel and Emails
  • Driving License
