Black Country Women's Aid (BCWA) is an established charity working across the Black Country and wider West Midlands providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking.


Services range from advocacy, civil remedies, support in court, individual and group support and access to a range of therapeutic interventions.

All services are client and needs led.


We are looking for exceptional candidates to join our growing and successful organisation within our Women's Justice Team.


Job Title: New Chance Worker- Complex Needs Specialist
Positions available: 1 full time position/37.5 hours per week
Salary: £19,968-£21,934 dependant on experience
Closing date: Friday 19th February 2021

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our New Chance Early Intervention Project, working alongside the West Midlands Police Force.

New Chance is a specialist project for women in Sandwell and Dudley who have been arrested and who the Police think might need some support.


You will offer practical and emotional support and intervention based on specialist comprehensive assessment and tailored to individual need.

You will work collaboratively with women, placing them at the centre of what you deliver.


You will manage a caseload of women with multiple needs, providing holistic coordinated support.


You will work at our offices in Dudley and West Bromwich, and from the custody blocks in Sandwell.
