Customer Service - Website Administrator

FULL TIME WEBSITE ADMINISTRATOR / CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT

An opportunity to become involved in all aspects of an expanding online business.

The main duties will be customer service and website administration.


Other duties include general clerical work, some involvement in sales and some involvement with our clients busy warehouse.

The variety of work provides several possible career paths dependent on individual skills and aptitude.

Website administration

· The main duties include drafting and editing web pages, updating prices and file management
· Extensive training will be provided while working alongside an experienced website administrator
· Initial duties will include corrections, amendments and data input.
· After training duties will include editing product descriptions, preparing detailed product specifications
and spreadsheet costings.
· After further training duties will include digital image enhancement and creating new web pages.

Other duties

· General administrative duties will include contacting customers to arrange deliveries, entering delivery
details online and generating picking lists for the warehouse.

Other duties will include invoice checking
and sales research.
· Sales duties will include responding to sales queries by phone or email, sending email quotations, taking
orders by telephone, entering orders on the database, processing card transactions and phoning
customers to obtain additional details.
· Customer service duties include responding to complaints, delivery problems or customer queries by
telephone or email and liaising with suppliers, couriers and contractors.

· Precision and attention to detail
· Good telephone manner

Previous experience

· Good experience of office work e.g.

clerical or administrative work
· Good academic qualifications e.g.

higher education (especially IT or business studies courses)
· Knowledge of spreadsheets e.g.

Excel
· Experience of digital image enhancement e.g.

Photo Shop

Working hours

· Normal working hours 9.00am to 5.30pm on weekdays
· Lunch break 30 minutes

Main terms of employment

· Full time employment 5 days per week
· Start date as soon as possible
· Holiday entitlement 28 days per year including Bank Holidays
· Overtime is not normally required but when agreed it is payable at 1.25 x normal remuneration
