Senior Design Manager - Building

I am currently working with a Regional Contractor that have a few offices across North & Central England have a combined group turnover of circa £200m.

Having been established for over 30 years, the business recently set up a new office in the Midlands and have big plans to grow the team and regional business here.

On the back of being awarded a large scheme in the Midlands, they are now looking for a strong, dynamic, driven Design Manager that can join the small team and help grow the region into a high performing business unit.

The plan long term, is to get the Midlands region turning over circa £70m in parellel with their other offices.

This person will be the first Design Manager within the region and so, that comes with plenty of opportunity to grow and build a team, ultimately moving into more of a regional design manager role and part of the senior leadership team.

• Sector Experience: Private Sector.
  
  Industrial, Residential, Accomodation, Commercial, Hotel Etc.
  
  


• Involved at pre-construction.
  
  Working closely with Architects, Engineers, Clients and developing design with the construction team ready for site mobilisation


• Live site - based on two live schemes and heading up the design on each live job


• 1x day a week spent at Pre-Construction, looking at live tenders & other work winning opportunities


• Someone driven and keen to progress themselves & this new regional team


• Midlands based.
