Dental Nurse

A new opportunity has become available for a Qualified Dental Nurse who is training in Impantology to join a small group of practices based around the Pinner area.

Start date - As soon as possible.

Please note - Candidates must be trained/have experience in Impantology and be able to travel around all practices.



MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To work in Surgery with the Implantology Specialist and to coordinate the pre and post patient care services.



OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
The role will be very varied and will require nursing duties based in practice and treatment coordinating duties based in the Support Office or one of the practices.

Involves building relationships with patients as you guide them through the treatment journey and provide excellent care during and post procedure as well as travelling twice a week with the Implant Specialist to our practices across the portfolio.



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1.

Travelling two days a week with the dentist to practices delivering Implantology
2.

Three days per week completing treatment coordinating duties for the Implantology patients in Pinner
3.

Coordinate diary of appointments with patients and the relevant practices
4.

Checking surgery space has been booked at the practice
5.

Coordinate booking details with patient
6.

Prepare for the day of surgery in advance by contacting the practice and checking everything is in planned for patient appointments
7.

Appropriate zoning of the diary for the treatments and cross infection clean down protocols
8.

Check all equipment is in working order
9.

Making sure that surgical templates are back from the lab and all necessary radiographs and models are available
10.

Complete and check that all documentation is signed prior to appointment.
11.

Full cross infection protocols to be adhered to at all times during surgery, set up and clean down
12.

Contacting patients after treatment for after care service
13.

Support the dentist with any note taking
14.

Taking payments
15.

Management of any payments and credit agreements

This is a full time role, candidates will need to be flexible on working days/hours.



Salary is dependent on experience, between £25k - £27k.

This is to be discussed further at interview stage.

All candidates must be fully qualified and GDC registered with UK practice experience
