Cabinet Maker

Are you a talented Cabinet Maker looking to further develop your skills?

Our client specialises in delivering high quality bespoke furniture and cabinetry for interior designers in the luxury market and private clients.  The company has strong growth ambitions and you’ll be part of their growth story.

The ideal applicant has 4+ years experience as a cabinet maker for a high end bespoke furniture or kitchen company with experience both on the shop floor and with site installations.

They enjoy the challenge and sense of achievement that comes with making and installing well designed and well made items as part of a wider interior scheme, they are keen to prove themselves in doing so and enjoy working as part of a team.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and spray finishing would be an advantage.

Ideally you will be looking to grow and pursue a career within the business, whether that be in workshop or project management, design or draughting.

Well suited to someone with an eye for detail and working knowledge of traditional and modern furniture making techniques including:

•             The ability to understand and work from technical drawings

•             Machining experience, ideally using a panel saw, rip saw, planer, thicknesser and spindle moulder

•             Traditional woodworking skills using hand tools

•             A keenness to carry out and assist with site installations, delighting our clients with their finished pieces

The position offered is full time (40 hours per week) with salary range between £23,000 and £30,000 per annum dependent on experience.
