Personal Assistant

An exciting, well-established, successful software development company is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic PA/Office Manager with at least three years’ experience.

Knowledge of HR and accounting procedures will be beneficial.

You should be extremely well-organised, capable of dealing with a wide range of tasks, and have some knowledge of the IT sector.

Friendly and professional, you should be able to adapt your skills to fit a variety of situations, have knowledge of modern technologies, and be able to pick up new approaches quickly.

You will have excellent literacy, numeracy, and planning skills, and a pleasant telephone manner.

Additionally, you will be competent at performing research and presenting information clearly, producing material to support the team and project goals.

The team is highly-motivated and dynamic, and all thrive in the remote-working environment.

You will need to be able to manage your time well, and coordinate multiple tasks at once.

A detail-oriented self-starter with effective communication skills, which will be a necessity when working collaboratively with the remote team.

You will primarily be responsible for organising the very busy MD, and will liaise closely with other members of the team.

This is a very varied role, covering many different aspects of running a small, remote company.

There is the opportunity to get involved with other projects and tasks outside of the core requirements.

• Three years in a relevant role

• Complex diary management
• Research and presentation of findings
• Travel arrangements
• Minute taking

Key duties

• Managing the MD’s task list and assessing priorities
• Diary/appointments management
• Liasing with the wider team PM and other managers
• Answering calls for the business Monitoring and answering multiple email accounts
• Arranging travel and accommodation
• Trade show planning and organisation
• Bookkeeping — entry and checking of financial data Invoicing — production and management of invoices • • Managing payroll and expenses
• Organisation and presentation of information
• Researching and presentation of findings
• Updating databases and documents
• Taking minutes of calls and meetings
• General paperwork and data entry
