Customer Care Manager

Our client is looking for an exceptional Customer Care Manager to join their award-winning team in South London. 

This is a full time office role that requires strong organisational skills with a great customer care persona and excellent customer service manner. They’re looking for a professional with over eight (8) years experience in an office environment role.

They’re a premium, award-winning heating services provider and experience in the domestic gas heating industry is preferable. 

Key Skills & Experience:

Excellent computer / Microsoft Office skills is a must, with a dynamic approach towards ensuring the smooth run of their customer care & office operations.

The right candidate will have:


  • Excellent customer care skills in building relationships with customers 
  • Great experience in customer care, preferably within the domestic gas heating industry
  • Over 8 years experience in office administration (managerial experience preferable)
  • A strong desire to help people
  • Excellent communicator 
  • Advanced computer skills with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Experienced in using project management / scheduling software
  • A focused, motivated professional, with a can-do outlook. 
  • Ability to multi-task in a pressured environment
  • Organised, with strong attention to detail 
  • High work ethic with professional and personal integrity
  • Open-minded and flexible, with a willingness to work within and manage a team

Key Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Liaise with customers (telephone / email) while maintaining a high level of personalised customer service at all times
  • Successfully book appointments with customers by building value on the company while ensuring confidence in their brand
  • Support the directors with sales while managing the company's daily operations, including the operational schedule of the company 
  • Managing the services dept, with all service, repair and maintenance bookings
  • Use of the project management software for data entry, bookings, and other processes required for their daily operations
  • Managing supplier accounts and POs (receipting and reconciliation) 
  • Managing general office administration and handling of day-to-day admin duties
  • Managing customer Invoices & payments (inc.

    billing, facilitating customer payments, expenses tracking, etc..)
  • Supporting the onsite engineer teams with incoming requests and information
