Digital Marketing Manager (Conversation Rate Optimisation)
Permanent/Full time/ flexibility in working hours
Location: Whiteley, PO15
Salary range: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum
Direct report to this role: 1 front-end developer


Essential for the role: previous recent experience in leading, coordinating and executing a wide range of CRO experimentation activities using CRO methodology.


The role is office based in Whiteley, however, temporarily during COVID-19, predominately working from home and attending the office in a COVID-19 secure environment for business meetings.

Once permitted, will be returning to the office, please ensure you can travel on a daily basis to Whiteley PO15 before applying.

For our client, we seek an experienced and driven Senior Manager for Conversation Rate Optimisation, to define and implement best in class CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) strategies, defining the testing roadmap and overseeing the end-to-end testing process.


You will report into the Director of Marketing and work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager Acquisition and Head of Brand & Product to ensure a synchronised, efficient, and effective customer journey.


Summary of role accountabilities


, As a Senior Manager for CRO, you will be responsible for leading, coordinating and executing a wide range of experimentation activities on our B2C and B2B propositions across numerous websites.


, You will be accountable for end-to-end management of the entire conversion roadmap, putting test hypotheses into practice and delivering fantastic results.


, You will be an expert in Conversion Rate Optimisation; ensuring best-in-class CRO methodology is utilised on all key proposition development initiatives.


, Providing a rigorous and accurate experiment analysis coordinating with team members and key stakeholders to prioritise and plan.

Working with senior stakeholders, digital designers, and front-end developers.


, Clearly convey your testing ideas through concise briefs with a clear and compelling commercial case for each test.


, Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and collaborate with the Head of Product and Brand and Head of Digital Marketing Acquisition to ensure marketing brand and conversion rate optimisation is aligned with the wider business requirements, marketing objectives, Company strategies and success metrics.
, Proactively benchmark new channels, technologies, and systems to ensure superior customer experiences, collaborating with the Marketing Director to develop new business cases.


, Optimise new propositions, and customer journeys regularly, ensuring the ideal mix of lead volume, cost per acquisition and quality of the lead.


, Proactively use analytical insight, behavioural analysis, and customer journey insights to identify and deliver website marketing optimisation and conversion opportunities.
