IT Support Engineer - Microsoft Cloud Apps

Our client is seeking a Support Engineer to join our Microsoft 365 team, providing support for our clients’ cloud infrastructure, and helping find and fix issues with Apps that we develop for clients.

This is a varied role working for a leading Microsoft Gold Partner, giving exposure to the very latest Cloud Technologies.

You will need a good understanding of cloud computing and must be able to turn your hand to working on a range of systems, from legacy client-server software to modern Power Apps.

You will need to be able to quickly analyse problems, plan and implement fixes, or refer them to other members of the team as needed.

You may also be called on to help with other work that we do at AMT, from supporting large development projects to writing documentation and blogs.

This role will suit somebody with a broad interest in IT and a desire to learn new skills in a busy, leading edge, supportive environment.

A degree level qualification is preferred, but other relevant IT qualifications or Microsoft Accreditations will be considered.

They have customers in a range of sectors including manufacturing, retail, charity and public sector, and perform a wide variety of work.

The consultancy team works with the very latest Office 365 Cloud applications, predominantly SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.

We also develop Apps for clients within the Microsoft 365 environment using React JS and SPFx.

Qualifications


  • Degree in IT related subject
  • BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in computing or science related subject
