Training And Development Manager Volunteers For UK City Of Culture 2021

This post is temporary for 12 months, working full-time 37.5 hours per week.

There is potential for this role to become permanent, subject to successful performance in post.  You will take a lead role in the successful delivery of essential training activities and initiatives for the UK City of Culture 2021 – City Host Scheme (Coventry).  This is an exciting opportunity for someone to showcase their skills and talent by designing and implementing effective training programmes and workshops for up to 5000 volunteers!

You will be collaborating with key partners and stakeholders in meeting expectations, overseeing the training strategy and assessing outcomes.

The successful applicant will project lead training and development events, overseeing all training programmes, including but not limited to face to face, online skill development and leadership.

We are looking for someone with significant experience of training delivery, gained within a commercial environment combined with a track record of managing successful online training programme and project delivery.

Candidates will be educated to degree level or have equivalent industry experience and hold a training qualification or relevant CPD.

You will need to be creative and innovative self-starter with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

A flexible approach to working hours is required.
