Business Development Manager

If you’re driven, self-motivated, successful, great on the phone, great with people and wanting to earn at least £36k in your first year, then this role is for you.

Based from home but working around Scotland’s Central Belt, you’ll be challenged, expected to achieve great results quickly, and you’ll learn more about business than from any business school or university.

You’ll speak to dozens of business people each and every week.

Hours are flexible, but this is a full-time job, with the option to fit around school hours where applicable. 

The company’s focus is on supporting local business owners to become even more successful by increasing their profits, building stronger teams and developing their business so it can ultimately work without them.

Clients participate in a range of group and individual coaching programmes, business planning days and team/individual development programmes.

About the Role

If you’re the Business Development Manager we’re looking for, you will join the world’s number 1 business coaching company’s Glasgow-based operation.

Together, we will work with business owners/directors to grow and improve their businesses – which in turn will improve the lives of the owners/directors, their families and their employees.

You will be responsible for:

  • Employ various marketing strategies – including the telephone, LinkedIn, networking, email, and other social media – to book qualified leads into meet-and-greets and workshops/events
  • Build positive relationships and awareness on the telephone to facilitate future contact with prospects who are not ready ‘now’
  • Track all activity and performance utilising the company’s test and measure systems and KPI dashboards
  • Consistently achieve or exceed your target of 1 new lead generated per day

  • Monthly performance related bonus, with no caps, the better we do, the more you earn
  • Home based with flexible working hours where required; some local travel may be required
