Play Worker - Bracknell

The role of the Playworker is to participate in activities with disabled children and young people in a play group setting.

To work as part of a team supporting the provision of an exciting and challenging programme of activities in a safe and stimulating environment for children/young people with a range of disabilities/additional needs such as autism, behavioural, learning and emotional difficulties.

The Play worker will be working in partnership with parents/carers, to encourage the children to play adventurously, creatively and imaginatively, and to enable them to obtain the full benefit of the facilities provided by the service.

This is a sessional position offering flexible working hours during evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Currently there are a number of summer positions available, however the scheme is recruiting for this post all year round.

The hourly rate is £8.91 per hour plus you accrue an extra 1.08p per hour holiday pay.
