Sales Executive

AW Safety Management are looking to recruit a senior sales executive to join our growing team in Cumbria.

The role offers a competitive salary and great benefits, working as part of a team reporting to the Business Development Manager

The Role

  • Generating and closing new business, increasing pipeline and bringing on new prospects

  • Generate new leads and opportunities using a wide range of activities including networking, online comms, webinars, and personal research.
  • articulate engaging product and service demonstrations
  • Collaborate with marketing and other functional groups to oversee account growth on a company-wide basis
  • Maintain accurate reporting
  • Potential for travel within UK inclusive of Overnight stays to meet with prospects across our multiple areas.

  • Grow relationships with key accounts by planning and tailoring marketing and lead generation strategies using a consultative approach with the intention of growing YOY spend
  • Pitch clients over the phone and through face-to-face meetings and presentations
  • Develop new and nurture existing relationships, up and cross selling the company’s product suite
  • Attend competitor events, industry trade shows and exhibitions
  • Track and manage the sales forecast while ensuring to update internal systems.

  • Act as a market specialist and make sure you have the knowledge to do so via internal and external resources

Profile of Candidate

  • Extensive experience in b2b sales, with a demonstratable record of achieving high targets and KPI’s
  • Be confident in achieving a billable revenue turnover which is equal to 4x Gross salary
  • Strong demonstratable administrative skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • While being independent the ideal candidate also needs to work collaboratively with different departments
  • Prospect, plan and conduct face to face visits with new prospective customer
  • Target & secure medium to large size prospects, generating new net revenue in line with our Sales Goals & forecast target expectations
  • Maintain & develop our CRM system ensuing accuracy of information posted
  • Remain engaged with customers to maintain relationship and ensure ongoing success of account management
  • Follow up and respond to sales leads generated by marketing activities or assigned by the Business Development Manager
  • Attend training sessions created to enhance relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Co-ordinate and produce formal quotes and facilitate the transition of new customers
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Pro-active, detail oriented and inquisitive
  • Self-driven, results-orientated individual with a positive outlook and clear focus on high quality and business profitability
  • Resilient team player
  • Keen sense for business development with a clear "hunter" mentality
  • Develop and maintain strong inter-company relationships with our supply chain
