SU Advisor

Our London team have an interesting and fulfilling role for someone who is highly motivated with a genuine interest in working with and supporting students whilst they are at University.

 The post will be based working between our London offices in Dagenham and Greenwich whilst also remotely supporting our Wroklaw office in Poland.

The post-holder will provide students with independent advice and guidance on a range of issues and academic matters, together with undertaking associated casework to analyse complex problems and recommend solutions.  There will also be opportunities to support the development of the service and our campaigns and strategic activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of providing advice and/or advocacy in a paid and/or voluntary capacity on a range of issues, including at least three of the following areas: housing, debt management, immigration, welfare benefits, student funding and financial capability.

You should also hold a minimum of Level 3 qualifications (e.g.

A Levels), however a degree or a relevant advice qualification and/or equivalent work experience is highly desirable.

You will also have the ability to communicate using digital technology e.g.

video calls, web chat and emails.

This post is permanent and full time.

A flexible approach to working hours is required.  Whilst our staff are currently working remotely, there will be a requirement for staff to be onsite as required when restrictions are lifted.
