Graphic Designer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled individual with exceptional graphic design skills to join our talented and friendly Creative team at Coventry University Students’ Union.

This is a temporary post to cover a period of maternity leave from June 2021 through until March 2022.

You will need to be able to work across a diverse range of design briefs and hold experience of designing a variety of materials from the initial concept to the final artwork ready to print.

It is essential you hold knowledge of and to be fully competent using Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.

You will also have experience of liaising with clients and external contractors including printers.

Experience of designing websites using HTML, CSS and Javascript,  and Adobe XD is highly advantageous as is, an ability to create GIFs and animation using Adobe After Effects, although not essential.

You should be well organised together with excellent accuracy and proof reading skills, and the ability to work under pressure to manage a busy workload.

This post is temporary to cover a period of maternity leave, working full-time 37.5 hours per week.

A flexible approach to working hours is required.  Please note that this post will be working remotely initially, however when restrictions are lifted will be required to work on-site as required.
