About the Role

Operating in a small friendly team you will be focussed on delivering Salesforce.com administration, declarative & custom development, as well as customer support to a varying and evolving group of customers across the public sector, encompassing local and central government.

As a Software Support Administrator, you will work closely with the wider team, developing good working relationships with customers who have already gone live with their systems.

With your eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a genuine passion for helping customers, you will help solve business and technology problems, supporting them in achieving their goals and introducing them to the full range of products and services Arcus can offer.

Is this you?


  • A minimum of 12 months configuration experience within the Salesforce.com software platform
  • Salesforce certified Admin (ADM-201 / ADX-201) or App builder (Dev-402) and possibly Community Cloud
  • Experience of all phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support
  • Experience with planning and execution of unit, integration and user acceptance testing
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements against existing applications, systems and processes
  • Ability to manage simultaneous requests, prioritise tasks appropriately and work to your own initiative in order to achieve a common goal
  • Experience of agile project delivery methods
  • Public sector experience - either working in or for local or central government agencies is an advantage

NB: The role will include UK wide travel and therefore you must hold a full UK driving licence and have use of your own vehicle.
