Project / Sales Manager – Racking & Storage Solutions (Currently Remote Working Opportunity!)

The company is looking to recruit a new Project / Sales Manager talented in Racking and Storage Solutions Specialist.

About the Role

Project Sales Manager – Storage Solution Specialist

To continue their growth strategy, they are looking for a Project Sales Manager – Storage Solution Specialist with the right balance of energy, spirit, desire and aptitude to drive their business forward expanding their footprint.

You will be skilled in utilizing all areas of the sales cycle, understanding processes and how to nurture relationships at Senior Director/ Board level to earn credibility and trust in quoting and securing high (& medium) value orders (£10,000- £250,000+).

Targeting key stakeholders within large Commercial & Industrial customers, you will grasp and clarify project specifics quickly enabling technical proposals to be comprehensive and commercially aligned.

This role is challenging and requires a self-motivated and effective sales professional to navigate the industry by being visible in the field with their existing and prospective clients.

As Project Sales Manager you will have a high level of autonomy to put your flair and style into elevating their offering and a direct reporting line to the Managing Director who is active in supporting and enabling your success.

Location: Covering the UK, you will need to have easy access to major motorways as well as being comfortable and flexible to actively cover the territory in person.

Key Skills & Experience:

Essentially you will have a track record in successfully selling either capital equipment and/or a technical service-based solution into the Warehousing industry (Distribution, etc) across large national commercial, industrial companies, retail and/or rail, airport projects.

As well as being:


  • A target driven sales professional, experienced and knowledgeable in managing the full 360 sales cycle (strategies, processes, tactics, and controls) for winning Warehouse Storage projects
  • Commercially astute with the natural gravitas to present and negotiate at Senior Director/ Board Level building credibility and securing contract commitment
  • An excellent communicator, able to quickly establish rapport and credibility within multi-layered businesses, optimizing opportunities through networking and referrals
  • Strong and confident with IT Systems, specifically the Microsoft suite, CAD, CRM processes & systems, and presenting via Teams/ Zoom
  • Inspiring team player, TRUSTWORTHY, honest, fun, coach-able and pleasant to deal with.

    Motivated by growth and achieving improvements
  • Talented to provide exceptional design solutions, creative, thinking outside of the box, able to follow the project through till the end to a high standard

Benefits:

Competitive base salary dependent on experience circa £40K
