Business Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

The role centres around three core areas: client liaison, service delivery and supplier relationships.

The main responsibilities involve:

  • Business and Project Administration:
  • Financial Administration
  • Supplier and Equipment Administration

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:


  • Excellent level of proficiency in Microsoft Office especially SharePoint, Word   and Excel
  • NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration or equivalent role experience
  • Demonstrable experience of using a Quality Management System to the standards of ISO9001:2015
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Document presentation skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to plan your own work, use your initiative and meet deadlines
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Tact, discretion and respect for confidentiality
  • A professional, confident telephone manner
  • Team player
  • Ability to work from home and flexible office working
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use


  • Knowledge and understanding of the application for Environmental Management Systems to the standards of ISO14001 would be an advantage
  • Knowledge and understanding of the application for Health and Safety Management Systems to the standards of ISO45001 would be an advantage
  • Experience in a consultancy or service-industry business administration role
  • Knowledge and experience of the practical application of GDPR
