Powertherm are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join their team.

Your typical duties in your role as a HR Advisor will involve: 

  • Being the point of contact for managers and employees  
  • Support Line Managers throughout the employee lifecycle and offboarding process 
  • Resolve employee relations issues including facilitating conflict resolutions, disciplinary action and grievance procedures 
  • Co-ordinating the recruitment process, including the selection of recruitment methods, contacting successful candidates and conducting interviews
  • Co-ordinating the onboarding process by conducting new starter inductions and ensuring relevant documents are received and fully completed  
  • Ensuring the training and development needs of the workforce in line with personal development, job requirements and business objectives  
  • Ensure the HR management system is up to date  
  • Administer HR documents, including job descriptions, offers of appointment, contracts of employment and employee relations documentation 
  • Create reports on HR metrics, including training reports and weekly PeopleHR reports 
  • Maintain internal HR documentation and ensure it is up to date 
  • Participate in HR projects, taking ownership of actions and working to deliver the activities 

They are looking for someone who: 

  • CIPD qualified, or working towards it
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office and HR Management software
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills
  • HR generalist experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of HR processes and workflows

It would be desirable if you have experience within a manufacturing, construction or engineering background. 

The role is full time and it is based at their Head Office in Sheffield. The salary expectations will be dependant on your experience.
