About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced Insides Sales Representative to join our growing sales team.

Reporting to the Operations Director, your primary purpose will be to identify potential cross and upselling opportunities and maintain excellent relationships with our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Applying excellent simPRO software and product knowledge in order to best address customer needs
  • Mastering knowledge of the trades industry and field-service business workflows to successfully promote the benefits of simPRO’s products
  • Identifying the needs of customers and communicating the value proposition of our software
  • Generating new leads with customers
  • Achieving sales targets
  • Engaging in license negotiations
  • Executing campaigns, activities and events to build and nurture a pipeline of opportunities
  • Collaborating with other simPRO teams to ensure that all customer needs are met.

The successful candidate will:


  • Have experience in a business development or consultative sales role
  • Be an expert in positioning a compelling value proposition to single decision-makers and large buyer groups
  • Enjoy networking, hunting for and nurturing key stakeholder relationships
  • Be a confident and experienced negotiator with the ability to seamlessly handle objections and close sales
  • Be able to work effectively under pressure and perform well in a team dynamic
  • Have experience using CRM systems
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of cloud-based technologies and systems

It would be desirable to have:


  • Knowledge of or experience working in the trades industry
  • Experience using Salesforce and Google Suit
