Our client is looking for a part-time Estate Manager to lead on the up-keep and development of a compact housing estate in the Honor Oak area of south London.

The role is responsible for: housing management, Council liaison, team management, meetings supervision, contractual and procurement management, financial and business planning.

Brenchley Gardens Management Association is part of a large community of self-governing organisations in the London Borough of Southwark helping residents manage and operate independently from the Council.

The successful candidate will have good financial and people management skills, exceptional knowledge and application of housing legislation, the ability to quantify and contract-out services, good interpersonal skills to help the management board develop their business plan.

BGMA has a small but dedicated team helping to deliver resident services in accordance with the management agreement, and the new Estate Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing these services to a small but attractive housing estate.

This post is offered on a part-time basis working a maximum of 20 hours per week and managing four employees.

The management board are experienced and keen volunteers able to offer significant support and development to the successful candidate.
